AWAAJ African Bazaar

On April 17, 2026, took place the AWAAJ African Bazaar, in the hall of Official Residence of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Mozambique in Japan. The event was organized by the Association of Wives of African Ambassadors in Japan (AWAAJ) and was attended by several African Embassies accredited in Japan, representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Association for African Economic and Development (AFRECO), SDGs Promise Japan (SPJ), Asia-Africa-Arab 55, as well as Japanese citizens and members of the African community residing in Japan. During the event, the Embassy of Mozambique showcased Mozambican culinary art and clothing made by capulana. The event provided an opportunity to strengthen cultural exchange between Africa and Japan.
