On 25 August 2026, His Excellency Alberto Paulo, Ambassador Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique in Japan held a meeting with a delegation from Omihachiman Global Network, led by Mr. Toshihiro Katagi, to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation and people-to-people relations between Mozambique and Japan, particularly with Omihachiman City.
