On February 28, 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Japan participated in the 9th Setagaya International Messe in Tokyo, organized by Setagaya City and the Setagaya Cultural Foundation. During the event, Mozambique Pavilion made an exhibition of national products of art, instruments of traditional dance, capulana and tourism potentiality. The event included dance performances by Japanese cultural groups. Also, the Embassies of Angola, Rwanda, Togo, and  Timor Leste participated in the Messe.
